Dénes Várjon is just back from New Zealand where he performed at the Mozart Festival in Christchurch and at the New Zealand International Piano Festival in Auckland.

In Christchurch Mr. Várjon played Mozart's Piano Concerto No.18. in B-Flat Major, K 456 with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Tom Woods. His recital at the NZ International Piano Festival in Auckland's Town Hall featured works by Haydn, Schumann, Janacek and Bartók. Mr. Várjon also held a master-class in Auckland. New Zealand Radio's popular programme "Upbeat" presented the artist in a half-an-hour live interview.
