The Hungarian label Hungaroton is going to record all five Beethoven piano concertos with Dénes Várjon. The sessions start in mid-September and the three CDs will be released in 2015.

Dénes Várjon performed in Spring 2014 in two concerts the five Beethoven piano concertos at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, with the Concerto Budapest under the baton of the orchestra's music director, András Keller. Critics and audiences were enthusiastic about the performances which proved to be a highlight of the concert season. Those who missed the concerts will not have to wait long: the Hungarian label Hungaroton has decided to record the concertos with the same performers. The first sessions will be in mid-September and the three CDs will be released in 2015.
