Gábor Káli Jumps in for Ailing Iván Fischer
Gábor Káli received fabulous reviews as well as enthousiastic applauses both from orchestra members and from the audiences for having brilliantly saved a major European tour of the world famous Budapest Festival Orchestra jumping in for ailing music director Iván Fischer.

The two all-Bartók programmes in the jam-packed Béla Bartók National Concert Hall in Budapest, the Elbphilharmony of Hamburg, the Philharmony of Luxembourg and the Philharmonie de Paris featured the composer's Rumanian Folk Dances and Hungarian Peasant Songs, his opera Bluebeard's Castle, the Miraculous Mandarin Suite and Concerto for Orchestra.
