Dénes Várjon Receives Kossuth Prize
Classical Concert Agency's pianist Dénes Várjon has been awarded with Hungary's highest cultural award, the Kossuth Prize, following in the footsteps of revered artists such as András Schiff, György Ligeti, György Kurtág, Éva Marton, Péter Eötvös and Iván Fischer.

The Kossuth Prize, handed over by tradition on March 15th, the country's national holiday by the President of Hungary upon the Prime Minister’s recommendation, is the topmost acknowledgment by the Hungarian state for work in the field of culture. Since 1948 when it was founded for outstanding achievements by musicians, artists, poets and actors, the Prize has been synonymous with excellence and is a recognition of a lifetime of work.
